Big data analytics and marketing applications company Teradata has expanded the capability of Teradata Analytics for SAP solutions, so it can now bring near real-time data from SAP ERP applications into enterprise analytic and reporting applications.
The solution automatically captures and delivers the most current data from SAP ERP applications and combines it with the non-SAP data stored in an Integrated Data Warehouse (IDW), enabling a wider group of users to leverage in-database processing at in-memory speeds for reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and advanced analytics.
“Teradata Analytics for SAP Solutions is a fast, ready-to-use solution that can be deployed in a matter of weeks to support more agile data-driven business decisions,” said Scott Gnau, president, Teradata Labs. “By providing access to integrated data in near real-time we’re enabling our customers to make data from SAP ERP applications usable for business intelligence across the enterprise.”
Once data has been integrated within the IDW, users can draw on over 150 dashboards and standardised business reports in key categories that include financial accounting, spending analytics, and manufacturing operations, and create custom reports using self-service tools.
Netherlands-based Teradata retail customer Blokker has already adopted Teradata Analytics for SAP Solutions, enabling it to design a repeatable process to bring together data across 15 ERP systems along with other business data in a single data warehouse, and providing improved visibility into orders, revenues and margins.
Teradata Analytics for SAP Solutions is now available worldwide and is compatible with Teradata Database 13.10 and later.
