Recognising the need for customers to be able to create actionable intelligence from data, Microsoft has launched the Cortana Analytics Suite, to provide big data and advanced analytics capabilities to enterprises.
Integrating with Cortana, Microsoft’s digital personal assistant, the Cortana Analytics Suite will enable core analytics scenarios such as real-time recommendations, customer churn forecasting, fraud detection, and predictive maintenance.
Available later in 2015 as an integrated offering via monthly subscription, Cortana Analytics Suite can be customised to organisations’ needs, but also provides preconfigured solutions for common scenarios.
The suite includes Microsoft Power BI for dashboards and visualisations, Azure Machine Learning, Azure HDInsight and Azure Stream Analytics for machine learning and analytics, and Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Data Warehouse for big data stores. Data orchestration and catalog and event ingestion will be handled by Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Catalog and Event Hubs.
