Victoria University, a leader in SAP education, is launching a new Masters program focused on business intelligence (BI) in 2015.
The Master of Business Analytics (Professional) will be a two-year degree program, covering a comprehensive suite of SAP BI and analytics applications and technology.
Associate Professor Paul Hawking, SAP academic program director, College of Business, Victoria University, said the course builds upon the university’s highly successful Master of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, which has been offered for the past 12 years.
“The course is designed to satisfy industry demand for business analytics and big data skills through the Asia-Pacific region. The new Business Analytics course is unique and will be underpinned by SAP Business Intelligence solutions including the BusinessObjects suite of products, SAP Business Warehouse and SAP HANA,” said Hawking.
“In addition students will have the opportunity to undertake ‘add on’ SAP training and consultant certification through the recently launched SAP Student Learning Hub. A number of SAP Mentors have been involved in the planning and development of this new masters program.”
The course is designed for IT, information systems and computer science graduates looking to move into corporate ERP/SAP organisations, technology analysts looking to move into business analytics, business analysts seeking to obtain roles in SAP-based organisations, and SAP professionals wanting to expand their career opportunities.
Applications for the course, which can be undertaken full or part time, open in August 2014.
