Japan’s Fujitsu Limited will integrated Qlik’s data discovery solution into its big data solution.
QlikView will be embedded into Fujitsu’s Business Application Operational Data Management and Analytics (ODMA) solution, in order to provide better visualisation and analysis of data for its business user customers. It will be made available exclusively to customers in Japan.
The move was prompted by Fujitsu identifying a growing need amongst their customers involved in product sales and product strategy, to be able to visualize and use data for on-the-go decisions.
QlikView caters to business users who do not have advanced technical skills, allowing those particularly in sales and marketing to both analyse and produce visuals of big data through simple point-and-click applications. Employees who do a large percentage of their work “in the field” will be able to construct visuals for customers within a short amount of time, and use this information to create convincing arguments for the use of products and services.
“Qlik is delighted to partner with Fujitsu in its big data initiative,” said Phillip Beniac, regional vice president, Qlik Asia Pacific and Japan. “There is strong synergy between QlikView and Fujitsu’s innovative capabilities in helping business users to easily explore and analyse big data. The resulting Operational Data Management and Analytics solution will help more businesses in Japan make better and faster decisions, becoming more agile and competitive.”
