Accenture has launched a flexible Analytics-as-a-Service solution specifically to help business users to make data-driven decisions.
The Accenture Insights Platform combines data storage and analysis capabilities with a range of industry and domain-specific applications, including the advanced analytics applications developed through the Accenture Analytics Applications Platform. It also offers data visualisation, data science, insight execution and data management services, with enterprise-grade security and support. Cloud management capabilities are provided via the Accenture Cloud Platform.
Costs are based on consumption, and the architecture can typically be provisioned within 24 hours, and generate analytics insights within weeks, according to Accenture.
Narendra Mulani, senior managing director, Accenture Analytics, part of Accenture Digital, said data and digital opportunities are emerging swiftly as a result of the Industrial Internet of Things.
“The platform breeds and supports a data-driven culture within an organisation as it is designed to solve business problems in an agile way, encouraging a more dynamic decision-making process for a broad user base. By marrying Accenture’s industry expertise with the leading analytics tools and flexible capabilities, the platform helps to remove the complexity of analytics so companies can focus on driving change,” Mulani said.
